In a late night development, Narendra Modi government in Gujarat ordered transfer of as many as 22 senior police officers. The transfers are at the level of DCP and ACP.
Accordingly, M M Anarwala, DCP (Traffic) Ahmedabad has been transferred to State Crime Bureau Gandhinagar. S K Gadhvi Commandant SRP Group II is now DCP (Zone-4) Surat, S M Khatri DCP (Zone-1) Surat has been shifted to Ahmedabad in place of Anarwala. M A Chavda DCP Rajkot has been moved to Surat as SP Intelligence while DH Parmar DCP (Control Room) Ahmedabad Commandant SRP Group IV.
N D Solanki Commandant SRP Bhuj is new DCP (Zone-1) Surat While Amit Vishwakarma DCP (Zone-4) Ahmedabad has been made Commandant SRP Group XII. All of these officers are IPS. Remaining officers represent state police service.
A G Chauhan DCP (Zone-4) Surat has been shifted to Ahmewdabad as DCP (Zone-4). M K Nayaka DCP (Zone-3) Surat is new DCP (Control) Ahmedabad. M S Bhabor Commandant SRP Group XIV has been posted as Commandant SRP Sabarkantha. P L Mal has been posted as Commandant SRP Group XIV from the post of Commandant SRP Group Banaskantha.
Parishita Rathod DSP (CID Crime) Gandhinagar has been posted as DCP (Zone-5) Ahmedabad. R M Pande DSP (Headquarters) Rajkot has been appointed DCP in Rajkot itself. A M Munia DSP Vadodara is now Commandant SRP Group X and P C Baranda Divisional Police Officer Jamnagar is DCP (ATS&SOG) Ahmedabad.R F Sanghada Divisional Police Officer Dhangdhra has been moved to SP Intelligence Gandhinagar, R S Bhagora ACP, (West Zone) Rajkot has been transferred to Gandhinagar as SP CID (Economic Offence).
A F Mehta DSP (Armed Units) Ahmedabad Headquarters is made Commandant SRP Group II. K N Damor Divisional Police Officer, Vyara has been appointed DCP (Zone-3) Surat. S B Sinha Battalion Quarter Master Group II is now Commandant SRP Group VIII. N M Zala Armed Dy S P C M Security Commandant SRP Group and M L Ninama I DSP (Headquarters) Gandhinagar is now SRP Group III.
