Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visiting Gujarat in February

Founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravishankar is visiting Gujarat on February 8. It is part of his new project of preparing volunteers for better India.

As a prelude to the event, second in India after Delhi, The Art of Living organized breathing techniques mega workshops across 26 districts of Gujarat. More than 5000 people participated in these 6 days workshops, said Nilesh Desai, President, VVKI Gujarat.

These workshops taught Sudarshan Kriya, a breating exercise developed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Sudarshan Kriya cleanses the system from the inside. The breath has a great secret to offer” quoting founder of the organization Sri Sri Ravishankar, Dr. Neelam Raval, Ahmedabad Teachers’ Coordinator shared her experience of the mega workshop.

“On 8th Feb 2012 Art Of Living (AOL) volunteers convention aimed for better India will be held in presence of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar . Sri Sri will address the AOL volunteers at Ahmadabad during evening hours. The purpose of the event is to gather and direct volunteers to build our country better place to live by making society stress free, healthy, happy, corruption free and environment friendly”, told Mr. Desai.

“We invite all AOL devotees (those who have learnt Sudarshan Kriya) to join this event and to contribute for our country. Next Mega Workshops are scheduled from January 17th across the state. All those people who want to join and contribute for better India, can learn Sudarshan Kriya in their nearby areas”, said Vivek Sharma, Ahmadabad Teachers Coordinator.
